Our Staff
The Owner, President, and CEO of South County Security Services, Inc., has owned the company for over forty years. After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force as an Air Police Officer, and while serving as a Reserve Police Officer he formed the security company. He spent 30 years as a police officer with a city in Alameda County while owning the security company. He has extensive experience and training in many facets of Law Enforcement and attended classes at the FBI Academy.

The Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer of South County Security Services, Inc., has been in office for ten years. Recently appointed to the Director position after her retirement from a local Sheriff’s Office, she retired as a Captain after serving 28 years. She has 32 years of varied law enforcement experience and has a lifetime teaching credential from the State of California. She is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and earned a Bachelor of Arts in management.

The Operations Manager at South County Security Services, Inc., for the last eleven years. He came to the company after retiring as a lieutenant with a local Sheriff’s Office; he gained extensive experience in setting up training programs and developed statewide recognition as an expert in law enforcement civil law. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from San Jose State University.

Our lead Patrol Supervisor has been with the company for over 15 years and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant after two years with the Company. He came to us after being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force as a Air Police Officer during his tour of duty. He has attended the Basic Security Officer Training School and is well trained in the field of security. He holds all the required licenses and registration as required by the State of California. As all of our employees, he attends the monthly training sessions to stay current in his field.

Skills & Expertise
The personnel provided by our firm are trained by our company in all facets of security. All have their State required guard cards and undergo intensive screening before hiring. After completing the application, if an applicant passes the process and we offer him or her a job, we conduct a thorough background investigation. Telephone calls are made and employment verification forms are sent out to previous employers. Previous employers are queried about the applicant’s character, job performance and ability, as well as anything that may hamper the applicant in our employment.

When an applicant is hired, they must complete forms for the company which include an Employment Agreement, Grounds for Dismissal/Suspension, and Pre-Employment Standards. Each applicant is informed that for every six month period of employment, they will be evaluated by their supervisor officer and these evaluations will determine any pay rate increase, promotions, or other company benefits.
